Strobing Muybridge was created as part of several site specific video installations for the Katonah Museum's exhibition "Horse Tales" (2001). Strobing Muybridge consisted of creating black on white and then white on black still frames from Muybridge's famous photograph Galloping Horse. These frames were then compiled in a video program thus creating
the animation. This inaugural sequence instigated his further of human and animal locomotion studies. |
