| merryGoRound is a video installation contained on the top of a pedestal. It consists of eight 4" lcd monitors arranged in an octogonal shape. The wires from the lcd monitors feed through a hole in the center of the top of the pedestal to the transformers and dvd player housed in the base of the pedestal. The animation consists of cutout shapes of figures or characters from movies or television. The cutouts strobe, spin and twirl across the horizontal screens. |
